Once a Runner

I don’t know if it’s really something to laugh about but 🤷‍♂️ what else can I do? I was planning on leaving for Stacie’s the day after my primary care visit but those plans were put on hold when I woke in the middle of the night and realized I had partial vision loss in my left eye. I went to the bathroom, went back to bed and figured I’d deal with it when I got up if it was still an issue. It was.  When I got up I still had the blind spot so I headed to the VA for lab work and called Dr. Lonergan to speak to his nurse about my situation. While I was getting blood work his nurse called back and said he wanted me to go to the ER where they wound up admitting me to the hospital. After CT Scan, Echocardiogram, MRI and lab work they determined that I didn’t have a brain stroke but probably had an eye stroke.    Once I was evaluated by a speech therapist and it was determined I could swallow the food was actually decent.  They referred me to an emergency ophthalmologist ...
